I browsed through a couple of Mitchell's books in a photo book store a couple of years ago. While I resisted the temptation to buy I was impressed. His images of Leeds reminded me of my own home town of Belfast.
Stunning photos Andrew! the north of England sounds fascinating, mostly because of projects like the ones that you recommend here. At times it feels like we're in a bubble here in the most southern part of the country.
Enjoyed reading this even if I take issue with the title. The place you had in mind is a bit further north!! 😉
What? There are habitable places further north? Well I never.
You really must visit one day - don't forget your passport though! 😉
Completely agree with you about Scotland, Harry!
Ha ha - touché! 😊
Northumberland is a delight!
I'm with you on that!
Where else could you possibly mean, Harry?
Well I did have in mind a place just south of the land of the Scots and not on the western side!! 😉
That makes me wish I'd gone to the University of Leeds...
Great set of photos, again, Andrew.
Thank you very much, Marcel

He has an interesting eye. Coincidentally I’m in Belfast this weekend!
Lovely pics and beautiful buildings. Bank House very impressive.
Thank you, Matt.
