I browsed through a couple of Mitchell's books in a photo book store a couple of years ago. While I resisted the temptation to buy I was impressed. His images of Leeds reminded me of my own home town of Belfast.

Stunning photos Andrew! the north of England sounds fascinating, mostly because of projects like the ones that you recommend here. At times it feels like we're in a bubble here in the most southern part of the country.
