Beautifully poignant Andrew - especially the final photo in the piece - bitter sweet memories no doubt. My sympathies for your loss.

Abandoned ships. They seem so forlorn, as if they wanted 1 more chance to shine, as it were. In my next life I'd like to live by the ocean, or any sizeable body of water, a chance to explore. I guess it's because my late father was a Navy man.

Really lovely, Andrew.

I just happened to have flipped through four or five packets of fading color photos last night. I’m also at an age now when there’s much more to look back on, and I’ve experienced so many of these changes, and so much loss.

Very nicely put.

Beautiful and sad photos. If those ships/yachts are just left there to disintegrate it means lots of plastic and fiberglass pollution in the water. Humans are really awful at discarding what they find useless.

Powerfully done. I don’t mind the remains of well used boats, they’re honest reminders of energetic lives.
