Being a 'hobbyist' photographer I very much like Alec's second quotation. Also like your National Theatre photograph. Made me a little homesick for London. But only a little, and it soon passed. Plenty here to interest the eye.

The National Theatre and the Southbank offer so many opportunities. It’s almost a perfect location and offers something every visit, even if that was daily.

He has such an interesting and inspiring approach to photography. I saw him speak at the Martin Parr Foundation about his wonderful book (and one of my all time favourites) ‘I know how furiously your heart is beating’. Is the Magnum Course available online or was that a one-off?
